The door to the multiverse in Marvel movies has opened. The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home shows us characters from other realities and even production companies arriving at the MCU, so fans are already speculating who else could appear.
Undoubtedly now that Disney has control of the majority of Marvel characters, the desire of many fans is to see the mutants, the Fantastic 4, and the heroes that appeared in the Netflix series on the screen again.
But apparently, it is the latter who have the most possibilities and would be reaching the MCU first, because in recent days, Main Middle Man on Twitter, who has previously revealed the plans for the MCU, assured that we would see them very soon.
What he said was that Disney and Marvel are thinking about how to specifically incorporate Daredevil and Kingpin into the MCU, about the first it seems that it will appear in several movies or series, and then a movie will be made.
Daredevil
As mentioned, the possibility that Matt Murdock will appear in the MCU is very likely, not only because he is one of the heavyweights of Marvel, but also because his character lends itself easily to interact with the Avengers other heroes.
The most talked about rumor or theory is that Charlie Cox will appear in the next Spiderman movie, not as Daredevil, only in his role as Matt Murdock as Peter Parker’s defense attorney after Mysterio framed him for his death.
Kingpin
Another of the rumors that surround these characters is that the incorporation of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin will take place in the Hawkeye series for Disney Plus as an enemy to defeat Clint Barton or his daughter.
It is even speculated that his appearance would be located in the years when Hawkeye became the vigilante Ronin, when half of the population disappeared by Thanos’ click with the infinity gems.
Punisher
The interpretation of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle is another of the casting that was almost perfect in the Netflix series. The actor has expressed his interest in returning to the role, so his return should be safe.
For Castle’s triumphant return, it is said that it will be in the next Disney Plus series Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac, where the Punisher will face Moon Knight, considering him more of a criminal than a hero.
Jessica Jones
The private investigator played by Krysten Ritter could return to the MCU in one of the series that Disney Plus has planned. We are talking about She-Hulk, where this heroine is also a lawyer, so she could request the services of Jones.
In the series, we saw Jessica work with Luke Cage who had invulnerable skin, so seeing her next to a super strong green skinned woman should not be a surprise or be out of character.
Jigsaw
Just as Brock Rumlow (Crossbones) was able to return after a building fell on him and faced Captain America at the beginning of Civil War, one of the most grounded villains in reality and who could revive thanks to the multiverse is Billy Russo.
The antagonist of the second season of Punisher would be a good adversary for Captain America of Sam Wilson. With his military past and mental imbalance, Jigsaw poses a great threat and could make a team between Cap and Frank Castle possible.
These ideas are so far-fetched when you consider that for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the actors who played villains in the past will revert to their role, even if they have appeared in films outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And although the series did not have many mentions or cameos, they were connected to the MCU, for example, the battle of the Avengers in New York against Loki and the Chitauri army was mentioned several times in Daredevil.
