We have several tricks with bicarbonate that will benefit our skin and act as natural remedies for some imperfections that we want to correct. Just pay attention, and you will discover how baking soda has incredible properties.
Teeth
You can take a small amount of toothpaste and add a pinch of baking soda. Mix it well, and then brush your teeth normally. You will get more whiteness in your smile. Do not rub, the baking soda will work without you having to wear down the enamel.
Stains
The spots on the skin are sometimes unsightly, but we can get a micro-dermabrasion to soften them and even to eliminate them. With the juice of half a lemon and a tablespoon of bicarbonate, we have a perfect liquid. We just have to wet a cotton pad and wet it slightly with that liquid. We rub it gently on the skin and little by little, the spots will become more tenuous over the days.
Skin
We will eliminate the roughness of the skin by creating a paste with two tablespoons of bicarbonate and a half of olive oil. Mix well and apply, with a gentle massage on the roughest areas, such as knees and elbows. You can also rub the baking soda, without olive oil, against your skin, with some patience, but your skin will be very soft.
Acne
With a tablespoon of bicarbonate and a teaspoon of lemon, we will achieve a deep cleaning. You just have to mix it and apply it with a cotton ball. You will get a deep and antiseptic cleaning. Try to seal with cold water. Do it in the morning and at night, before going to bed.
Some
Just a tablespoon of baking soda and a half teaspoon of warm water will start to bubble. Grab a nail brush or toothbrush, wet your head, and rub against your nails. It will clean them in depth, and they will shine much more. You will not need shiny polish.
Hair
Pour a teaspoon of baking soda into your regular shampoo. Let it mix and wash your hair normally, without rubbing too much. It will remove grease from the roots, achieving a deep, non-abrasive cleaning.
Wrinkles
Lightly wet your face with a towel that has been wrung out of hot water. With the steam, the pores will open and prepare to receive the treatment. In half a cup of baking soda, add a few drops of olive oil. Stir vigorously so that the two ingredients are well integrated and thus create a pasty cream. If you see that it is somewhat dry, add a few more drops of olive oil. You just have to apply it all over your face, massaging in circular motions and letting it work for a couple of minutes. It affects the wrinkles that you have on your face. This mixture will act by deeply cleansing the skin, eliminating dead skin, and hydrating the deeper layers. With the massage, we will get the skin to become more elastic, when working it. When the time has elapsed, remove with a towel drained of hot water. Next, add very cold water to seal the skin. You can apply this natural method, twice a week.
Deodorant
You simply have to apply the deodorant that you usually use and on top, add a little bicarbonate of soda. It will help regulate sweating and prevent those uncomfortable stains from coming out.
Feet
You can exfoliate them with some baking soda, with or without olive oil, to leave them soft, but the best thing is to add a little baking soda to a basin of warm water and put your feet in it. It will quickly remove odors and clean them thoroughly.
Breath
A glass of warm water, with a couple of drops of eucalyptus or peppermint extract, whichever you like best, mixed with half a teaspoon of baking soda. Rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth. Let it act for 30 seconds, and then throw it away.
As you can see, bicarbonate is an ally, which has many uses to enhance the natural beauty that we have. With these little rituals and for a very little price, you will get the most out of it.
